Hope Blossoms is 50 Days Away!

Spring has arrived and in just 50 days – on Wednesday, May 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, the Hope Blossoms Gala returns in-person to Columbia Country Club!

Sister Mary Bader, DC, and Honorary Co-hosts Pam & Dennis Lucey invite you to this celebration of St. Ann’s Center’s families and our continuing mission to heal, strengthen and inspire vulnerable mothers and their children. The gala will honor our 162-year history of service in the Washington, DC region and our 60 years at our Hyattsville, MD campus!

Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, will deliver the invocation at our event with Michael Steele, MSNBC Analyst and Former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland serving as Master of Ceremonies. Longtime St. Ann’s supporters Judy and John Ritz will receive the The Mary McGrory Advocacy Award; and Former St. Ann’s Board Member Steve Heidenberger (in absentia) will posthumously receive the The Michele Heidenberger Volunteer Award, named in memory of his sister-in-law.

Each year, proceeds from the gala help St. Ann’s Center provide transitional housing and extensive support programming to families experiencing homelessness. Mothers are offered counseling, mentoring, life skills and parenting classes, opportunities for further education, and employment coaching. Children – both in residence and from the community – benefit from our on-site Child Care Center, which also includes an Early Head Start program.

Don’t miss out! Tickets to Hope Blossoms 2022 are available here!
